I am pursuing a master's degree in computer science at Concordia University under the supervision of Dr.
Essam Mansour and a research assistant at the Concordia Data Systems (CoDS) lab. My research tackles creating data management, integration, and discovery systems for data lakes. I am currently working on KGLac, a system that captures metadata and semantics of datasets to construct a knowledge graph (GLac) interconnecting data items such as tables and columns and supports data discovery on top of it.
Before joining Concordia, I graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a major in computer science and a minor in mathematics with High Distinction.
I am keen on democratizing data and leveraing it to extract useful insights. For this reason, I am interested in building systems to manage big data useful for data integration and data preparation.
